Carphone Warehouse has completed its deal to prelet the 82,000 sq ft White Building in Notting Dale Village, west London, for its new HQ.
The mobile phone retailer has taken a 10-year lease at rents of around £32 per sq ft on the property which is next-door to retailer Monsoon’s HQ, the Yellow Building.
The building forms part of Monsoon founder Peter Simon’s Allford Hall Monaghan Morris-masterplan for the 2.6-acre site, which he bought from Multiplex, Westfield, and the Reuben brothers for £10m in 2005.
Pilcher Hershman advised the Simon family;
Savills has been jointly appointed alongside Pilcher Hershman to market the remainder of the Monsoon portfolio, which includes a refurbishment of the retailer’s 52,000 sq ft former HQ at 179 Harrow Road, available in early spring.
